Moving on, back to my Canadian motherland

Some of you might have already heard. Friday was my last day at Irrational Games. I had an awesome and enjoyable 3 years working there. It is an honor to me to work with and learn from many talented individuals at the studio. I just can't thank Shawn Robertson and Nate Wells enough to take me in right out of college. I will cherish this experience and carry it through out the rest of my journey. I look forward to Bioshock Infinite when it comes out, it'll be a great blast and something incredible )

Bye Irrational, good bye for now. I'm sure I will be able to meet you guys some time again in the future.

big LD update

Here are a bunch of life drawings to catch up on my slack. Well I wouldn't really call it a slack, its just cause I wasn't too happy with a lot of them, so I just never posted them.

VS

I've been doing too many standing poses, going to try and do a better composed scene for the next few. Here is a simple one that I might continue tomorrow

Lute

I hate Lute. He's the worst character in Saga Frontier. I hate his wussy clothings and his lute. I have no idea what his story is about. He's also one of the weakest character in game. #$(^*$

T260g

T260g is the only Robot character you could choose as main in Saga Frontier. I personally love the Robots (I used a full Robot team for my Red) in the game, one reason was how awesomely strong they can get at mid game. Give em 2 full set armor and you get maxed out defense. Plus they're immune to all of those crappy negative effects like flashes and charms.

Riki

This is Riki from Saga Frontier. Even though I hated the monster characters in Saga Frontier, Riki's story line is among the best of them all. (also hardest, hated the part with 8 challenges)

Asellus

After Red the Alkaiser, Asellus is my 2nd favourite character in Saga Frontier

Red

This is Red from one of my favourite RPG back in my PS1 days. 10 points to the one who can guess the game (most likely no one will cause I don't think it was as well known as others like Legend of Mana, FF's, and Chrono series)

Erza the Titania

Erza is one of the character from the anime Fairy Tail. She is one of the strongest mage in the guild, strong in both will and physique. She does fall down from time to time, but be ready. Cause she will always get right back up.

Scooter

Scooters were one of the most common thing on my trip to Taiwan during this past Christmas. I just love how convenient they are. Cheap, easily accessible, and they dont take up much space. Going down to the supermarket 10-15 minute away would be such a joy ride on a nice summer day. It's really unfortunate they aren't that winter friendly, especially a winter in our motherland, Canada...

YUI

YUI is among one of my favourite singer because she not only write and compose her own songs (not sure if its all, but most of them), she also did wrote the opening and ending songs for Bleach and FMA, which were really awesome. I started following her way back when she was doing her "Goodbye Days" in Taiyou no Uta. The movie wasn't that great, but all her songs made up for it. Even though I don't really know what they're about, the nicely composed melody really gets me, and fall right into my alley.

Really awesome fan remix of YUI's Tokyo + Avril Lavigne's Compicated -

Retake

SG-1

I finished watching SG-1 tonight!!! It was just pure awesome, I loved the ending to it!

I actually never watched any of it until some time in mid 2011. I was introduced to Star Gate Universe at first. I thought that was alright, felt kinda like Battle Star Galactica (but not as good). So I took my friend's advice on watching it from the very beginning. Star Gate the movie, then into SG-1. It felt very cheesy at first, cause it's dated in the early 90's (during the Buffy days). And then it just got better and better, grew on me more and more as the seasons just blazes by.

I highly recommend anyone who have a thing for Sci-fi to watch it through. A 10-season serie is a bit much to watch. The planet explorations, alien technologies, light comedy jokes here and the chemistry the actors had were just something that can't be found on any other shows.

Anyway, I'm not going to blab on too much now. Gonna have to get my hands onto the 2 other SG movies, and SGA to continue on my adventure through the Star Gate world )
